COOKBOOK
As art director of Special Issues—publications on a range of topics that extend the Toronto Life brand—I helped launch the premiere issue of Cookbook, as well as numerous issues of Stylebook, Neighbourhoods, Weddings, Eating & Drinking and Real Estate.
This involved executing multi-day food, fashion, product, beauty and architecture photoshoots; overseeing a team of photo and design staff, commissioning illustration, managing budgets and liasing with talent and contributors.
To launch the Stylebook issues, I helped organize a photography exhibit and designed life-sized cut-outs of the 'most stylish' that were spotted at parties around the city. I also didn’t shy away from taste-testing when the job required!
